When you have private insurance and CHIP or Medicaid, your private insurance is required to pay for your health care.
It is very important that you keep your insurance status up to date because your claims cannot be paid until we know who is supposed to pay.
And if your claims are not paid, you could be denied service at your Provider or pharmacy.
