Straight Talk on the Vaccine in Asian and Hispanic Communities

Community hosts live events to help Texans understand the COVID-19 vaccines

On March 23, 2021, Community gathered Texas health and community leaders to answer questions and engage in “straight talk” about the COVID-19 vaccine. The conversation was specifically designed to address concerns among Asian and Hispanic communities and was moderated by Houston Chronicle reporter Gwendolyn Wu. Panelists described their confidence in the COVID-19 vaccines while discussing unique needs among Asian and Hispanic families and neighborhoods.
