Dr. Roosevelt Alcorn is the Medical Director of Community Health Choice, Inc (CHC). He oversees the day-to-day medical responsibilities of the HMO. Dr. Alcorn is also the developer and former Managing Director of the Medical Mobile Outreach Clinic, Inc. Bewildered by devastating health conditions and masses of people who had virtually no access to quality medical care, Dr. Alcorn started the Mobile Outreach Clinic, Inc. – a fleet of mobile medical/dental clinics to serve people with limited or no access to quality care. These clinics currently treat thousands of patients every week in Texas and throughout several African and South African countries.

Some of Dr. Alcorn's present and past affiliations include membership in the Harris County Medical Society and the Christian Medical/Dental Society. He has also served on the Board of Directors for the Denver Metropolitan Sickle Cell Association and for Operation PUSH. He is the recipient of several awards including the Baylor Outstanding House Staff Award and Man of the Year Award from the S.Y.L. Foundation.

Dr. Alcorn is a graduate of Michigan State College of Human Medicine. He is married and has eight children.
